Ok guys and gals, I got a "perdickament". My rig went up in smoke
today due to a accidental shorting of the key line while in receive
and by the time I smelled the smoke and got to it, one of the finals
produced a cathode to filament short. While I had the finals out, I
decided to check the 47 ohm suppressors since they looked pretty
cooked and found that one is 66 ohms and the other 76 ohms (of course
with the inductance disconnected).
What is the general rule for replacing these regarding value, rating
etc.? There are no low ohm 2W in my parts box (except for wirewound).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Happy Thanksgiving!
