[Heathkit] Help HW-101

 Hello List!
Got a cheap HW-101 on a flea market.
Made a realignment but have still a problem. It is not possible to get 
S-meter 0.
Even with the variable resistor for S-meter 0 fully adjustet, S-meter is far 
left.Also audio in RX-mode sounds a bit "rough".
Could not check audio in TX-mode, because in TX there are around mic-input 
several "modifications" that i have to rebuild. But that is another story. CW 
is full output all bands.
Any idea about the S-meter 0 ?
