[Heathkit] HW100 100KC calibrator

I have tried to adjust the calibrator with my MFJ259 counter input and
a homemade probe using a 15pf cap. No matter where I take the reading
(pin 2 or at the cathode of CR201), it pulls the freq and I see no
change when I adjust C220. I tried various cap values bigger and
smaller and it makes no difference.

I also tried at the antenna jack but the sig level is too small to
read. Using the "other receiver" method it adjusts fine but I wanted
to get a more accurate calibration. I suppose you are going to say it
doesn't hold anyway, but it's the principle now. I want to understand
why I can't adjust it by reading the freq at pin 2 or the diode.
