I've used my 401/300 in separate and locked modes and I never
noticed any frequency changing, perhaps if the power (117 V. ac)
supply was soft (high impedance) this phenomenon would exist.
(one of the two reasons to regulate a supply voltage)
If this condition exists, a 105/150 volt (possibly several
watt {heat sink?}) Zener diode and possibly additional series
dropping resistance feeding the Osc. will add regulation,
unless you are a purest) I've done this with 0B2/OB3's
in the past, I suspect a Zener is cheaper now)
