The new Dahl transformer in my SB-221 has about 600 higher voltage than
stock and is causing the back panel breakers to blow if I dawdle on the
tuneup. Its not good for the tubes to loose air suddenly when red I am
sure.
Short of tuning faster how would I go about changing the breakers from a
10A to say 15A trip without changing them? How do you determine the
shunt value?
This does not appear to be a simple Ohms law or meter shunt exercise.
Yes I know an easy way would be to reduce drive or add series R to the RF
input but those are not my first choices.
