Hi Kelley,
   Well it will work in a fashion. You won't have a very large
usable sweep range. Let's say that the first IF has a 20 Khz BW
and you're tapped into the 2nd IF. Then the maximum usable sweep
range will be 20 Khz. You should tap in as close to the RF stage
as possible, before any IF filters or even the first IF stage if
possible. Usually though you have to use the output of the 1st IF
to get enough gain for the SB-620 but before the 1st IF filter.
