[Heathkit] SB-221

When that zener diode went south on me, my idling plate current was too
high, on the order of 300-325 ma on SSB transmit with NO drive. That zener
diode is a large, chassis mounted thing.

I have at least one of those diodes in my box of spares and would be willing
to part with it because I don't use that circuitry anymore. Instead, I
installed the Harbach mod which I believe is the 'rectifier/metering' board.
It is a far better circuit than the zener and a far better circuit all
round.

If you want one of the diodes, let me know.

I have a SB-221 amplifier that is missing zener diode ZD-1 and it appears it
may have never been installed
although the amp seems to put full power out. The only thing I don't seem to
have is idle plate current that the book calls for. Any ideas ?????
