[Heathkit] SB-303 LMO tuneup

I have an SB-303 that I have replaced almost all the transistors (except
RTTY) and is about the hottest thing on four rubber feet.  After
completing a stand alone alignment, I noticed that the LMO has shifted
down in frequency (probably 15-25 Khz) and is not quite linear.  I can
not get the top end of any band.  Seems to me that when I overhauled the
303 12 yrs ago and put it in storage, I had the same problem.  I want to
go into the LMO and adjust it back in spec.

Has anyone done this before and have any words of wisdom before I tear
into the LMO?  I wouldn't think it would be too much different than
trying to tweak the HW series VFO's into alignment.
