[HCRA] The Big E Ham Radio Booth

The HCRA is the "home" club for the Big E booth this September 16th through
October 2nd.

We're looking for volunteers to man the booth during the "non-state" days.
There is a West Springfield, Springfield, Chicopee, Agawam and Westfield
days. Here is the full list:

Saturday, Sept. 24 Vermont Day
Sunday, Sept. 25 Grange Day • Chocolate Milk Day
Monday, Sept. 26 Salute to Springfield
Tuesday, Sept. 27 Salute to Chicopee
Wednesday, Sept. 28 Salute to Agawam
Thursday, Sept. 29 Salute to Westfield
Friday, Sept. 30 Harvest New England Day
Saturday, Oct. 1 October Fun Day
Sunday, Oct. 2 Salute to Special Olympics
The days are split into two 6 hour sessions. The first is from 9:30 am
through 4:00 pm and the 2nd is from 3:30 pm through 10:00 pm. The booth
MUST be manned at all times between 10 am and 10 pm.

Clubs throughout New England are organizing and choosing sessions or days
to man the booth.

We need your help. Please volunteer to fill in the gaps. Either for a
session or the full day.

An average day in the booth will be talking to the public about ham radio
with the interest in getting them interested enough to sign up for classes.
There will also be a special event station (N1E) operating from the booth
running ssb, cw and digitial.

For this to succeed we need your help. Local help is imperative to making
this a success. Please volunteer.
