I am looking for one to two more volunteers to work the first session
(9:30am - 4 pm) on Wednesday, September 28th.

This would give the club a full HCRA day at the Big E ham radio booth. The
afternoon is already full and the morning is partially full.

We will be re-imbursing all booth workers admission and on Big E grounds
parking, which together is $25.

Join other club members in talking to the public and educating them about
modern ham radio.

Tom's Hot Dogs is a local landmark that has been there since the 1950s. If
you aren't familiar with it by now I'm sorry for you.

Started by a guy named Harold who named it after his son Tom, and then Tom
ran it for 20-30 years until he sold it to Gary who runs it now. There's

The next HCRA 10 meter net will be held on Monday, 8/15 at 7pm on 28.375 usb

Topic: What did you do over the summer and did you travel anywhere? Plus 
a possible trivia question too.

28.375 is within the Technician's license privileges so if you are a ham 
with a tech or greater license you are encouraged to participate.

This is the last 10m net before returning to the normal schedule in 
September.

All licensed hams are encouraged to participate regardless of club 
affiliation!

A success by all accounts.  Especially in terms of french fries, onion

Hope all are well.

I am contacting you because I need to re-home a 24U rack/cabinent enclosure. I have owned it for About 20 years. It was out of my possession for a few years in a production environment (audio/video) during which time it was painted black with latex paint.? The steel is otherwise powder coated a light blue. You can see the powder coating on the doors, which were not used in the studio. Latex paint is easily removed with a chemical stripper or media blasting. I was about to remove the paint, but I figured the new owner may prefer black.

This would be great for a fixed-mobile repeater setup or a server rack or good or audio equipment. It would also be good good for a permanent install.

There is movable shelving for using non rack mountable equipment, including a sliding tray. Also, a power bar secured inside the cabinet.

Cabinet is on heavy duty casters I added myself. They are removable.? Two swiveling, two rigid.

Top of cabinet is removable for cooling accessories.

Locks would have to be added if desired.

Cab Dimensions (Inches) 30Dx23Wx51.5H (~54? Tall with casters)

I love this rack, but it has to go. Located in Wilbraham, MA. Asking $500. Offers entertained.

This Friday thru Sunday is the New England ARRL convention in Marlboro, MA.

This used to be called Boxboro for many years. It is now the
HamXposition or HamXpo for short.

Activities start 9am on Friday and go through 1pm on Sunday. There is a
seminar for nearly any interest, plus a great flea market and inside retail
vendors.

Both Friday and Saturday night have banquets with interesting speakers and
great door prizes.

I'll be there most of the weekend. If you see me, make sure to say hi.
