Also, Firefox has an extension called Facebook Container that will help too.

I agree that Zero Beat should be on the HCRA website. I am divorcing
Facebook and rarely use it other than keeping up with a few businesses I
frequent as well as my son, who is active Active Duty in the Navy. If the
club is looking to utilize social media, I would like to recommend MeWe. No
tagging of posts and no Big Tech oversight.

sites.  Also, the ZB archive is on the website and anyone can look at them.

Perhaps a link to the issue in the Web page archive could be emailed to
those on the reflector.  That would eliminate any problem with emailing a
large PDF file, although today, I'd be surprised if there is anyone that
can't receive a 5-meg file without a problem.  Just a thought.

When the issue is on the website the link to the page will be made
available to all via the reflector and a post from the website. Posts made
from the website are received only by those that opted to subscribe to the
posts. The post goes via email also.

In the meantime here is the link to the 2021 issues:
https://www.hcra.org/zero-beat-2021/. An issue can be read directly from
there, or downloaded for those that want to do that. March is not there
yet. Also, from the website's main menu on the landing (main) page, you can
select the Zero Beat and can see 2  items, an entry to the link I provided
above, the other one will take you to the archive for prior years.
Come December or early January,  2021 issues will be moved to the archive
and the current year will show 2022 issues.

Here is a screen shot of the settings on Facebook. Look at the ?off-Facebook activity? setting. You will be amazed at all the data they are collecting on you when you use other apps.

Hey Folks,

I've read some of the threads in between working today and want to set
things straight.

1. ZeroBeat gets published to the HCRA FaceBook page

2. ZeroBeat gets published to the HCRA.org web site

3. A link to ZeroBeat on the HCRA.org web site gets emailed out to everyone
on the HCRA email reflector

Here is that current link:  http://www.hcra.org/zero-beat-2021/    March
will be up very soon, keep checking

An incorrect link got published linking to Facebook by accident. It is not
a change of policy or whatnot. Just a simple accident that has been
corrected. Nothing more.

The club does not expect everyone to be on Facebook just as not everyone
wants to be on this email reflector.

If you don't want either, you can continue to check HCRA.org the week of
the meeting for the most current ZeroBeat.

You can also read back issues of ZeroBeat going way, way back in years as
they are all on the HCRA.org web site.

I hope that clarifies this issue for everyone.

I sill have a latex weather balloon left over from the balloon launches 
I did in the 80's with the MTARA. Don't know if is is still good, but it 
was sealed up so maybe... Anyway, if? you can use it, let me know, it's

I can't believe we are  20ish emails deep about this. How about the fact we
should be grateful that people take time out of their busy schedules and
VOLUNTEER to even put out the newsletter. It is available in several spots.
