Frequency Coverage: 3.8-4.0 MHz). In restoring the rig, I checked all tubes and replaced 3 (including the 2 finals), cleaned the chassis, all switches and tube sockets, replaced knobs, all eletrolytics and some mylar capacitors, as well as any resistors (over 20) that were 10% over the specified value as well. The cabinet was also re-painted with a couple of coats of paint. The rig looks good, receives and transmits well now, and puts out about 75-80 watts on voice peaks. From Connecticut, using a ground-mounted vertical, I have had excellent signal reports from contacts in Maine, Florida and Michigan ? it is a fun rig to run on the air.
