Frequency Coverage: 3.8-4.0 MHz). In restoring the rig, I checked all tubes and replaced 3 (including the 2 finals), cleaned the chassis, all switches and tube sockets, replaced knobs, all eletrolytics and some mylar capacitors, as well as any resistors (over 20) that were 10% over the specified value as well. The cabinet was also re-painted with a couple of coats of paint. The rig looks good, receives and transmits well now, and puts out about 75-80 watts on voice peaks. From Connecticut, using a ground-mounted vertical, I have had excellent signal reports from contacts in Maine, Florida and Michigan ? it is a fun rig to run on the air. Includes Manualman duplicate copy of the assembly/operating manual. Sold AS IS - proceeds go to local Ham Radio Club. You can get FCC-19-126A1.pdf and OET Bulletin 65 directly from the FCC. Do a google search to get the FCC.gov link. Folks, these new RF Exposure rules apply to an array of FCC radio services, not just the Amateur Service. Trust me. The FCC is not going to be coming around to visit so it can check for compliance. The FCC has too few field personnel as it is. Please see http://www.arrl.org/news/updated-radio-frequency-exposure-rules-become-effec tive-on-may-3 It references resources on the ARRL website. More guidance will be on the way. In the meantime, please don't panic. 73, Rick, WW1ME -----Original Message----- From: hcra-bounces at mailman.qth.net [mailto:hcra-bounces at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Ken, KD1KU via HCRA Sent: Wednesday, April 28, 2021 12:39 PM To: HCRA at mailman.qth.net Subject: [HCRA] RF Exposure Download (pdf) ______________________________________________ -------Hampden County Radio Association------- -----------e-mail list (reflector)------------- ______________________________________________ Here is two links for the 2 pdf files I made available for DL via my server.
