[HCRA] Field Day the HCRA Way - Cancelled for 2020

Alan,

I too am somewhat relieved, yet disappointed we weren’t able to pull-off field day under conditions in which field day is meant to simulate. For example, an EOC might not be a good environment to operate during a pandemic, but a field site sure would alleviate risk. Alas, seems like the interest wasn’t there and club funding and resources will be better spent in the future when safer to do so.

Alan, I was curious about your email signature and looked up your website. Pleasant surprise was seeing you in the cockpit, wearing a view limiting device nonetheless. My goal for this field day is to go aeronautical mobile. My wife and I are hams, but we done have any HF gear suitable for the airplane. I’d like to focus on the flying but have A couple of operators in the air this year. Interested?
