Just a reminder that this Saturday (October 22nd, 2016) is another
installment of HCRA's "Share The Knowledge" series. The topic will be on
the popular micro controller "Arduino", your presenter will be Juergen
Malner (NV1Q).

The Arduino is a computer programmable, open-source, micro controller unit
(MCU). It gained popularity with the DIY/Maker crowed due to it's ease of
programming and use. There have been many uses for the arduino that include
quad-copters, robotics, home automation, and more. There is no limit with
what you can do. There are many amateur radio applications that use the
arduino. Hams use them for station management, code/data keyers, TNC's,
Rotor control and more. The Ten-Tec rebel used an Arduino as a way to
encourage operators to tinker with the radio.

HCRA purchased dozens of Arduino type kits and have been selling them at
meetings. Hopefully you are getting use with them. If not, don't worry.
Juergen will be covering the basics.

When: Saturday October 22nd, 2016 - 9am
Where: Holyoke Medical Center Aux Conf Room (Same place as our meetings)

Even though it's not required. It's suggested for you to bring your kit and
a laptop (with charged battery of course).

HCRA will provide coffee and donuts to attendees

Thank you!
