Dan KB1VWQ came up with a great idea. Send me pictures and stories about your activities this weekend, if I get enough pictures, next months Zero Beat will have a picture page. Send them to me at gary.fields at northcomm.net, wa1mow at arrl.net, or put them on HCRA's FaceBook page. 73's Gary WA1MOW From nt1k at nt1k.com Mon May 4 12:44:03 2015 From: nt1k at nt1k.com (Jeffrey Bail - NT1K) Date: Mon, 4 May 2015 12:44:03 -0400 Subject: [HCRA] New England QSO Party is over... Need Scores Message-ID: If you participated in the New England QSO Party, Please e-mail your score summary (QSOs, Points, Multipliers), your county, pictures and soapbox comments to scores at hcra.org. It would be nice to get your claimed scores as we can use the information for zero beat and for the website as well. It appears there was quite a bit of HCRA members as well as those in Hampden County on the air. Personally I've heard from NV1Q, NU1O, WD1S, KC1CRS, KD1UU, WW1DX (KK1W, N1FJ, W1MSW, AA1YW ops), KB1VWQ, N1MFL, KA1V, WA1UZX, KU1RT and NE1C (K1MAZ, Kx1x, N1NNN, N1ELI ops). Hopefully there was more. It was a great time even though band conditions were not at their best but people were having fun with the multiple contests going on. Logs will need to be submitted to NEQP within 30 days. Please see the rules at NEQP.org (http://neqp.org/rules.html) Don't forget you can also submit to 7th Area QSO party and Indiana QSO party using the same log. Delaware QSO party also took place during the same time. In order to submit your logs to the Delaware QSO party, you would have to duplicate your log and remove everything but the DE contacts. So there is a possibility to get certificates in 4 contests. Hope you had fun and we'll see you at the next meeting which is taking place on Friday June 5th, 2015 at the Holyoke Medical Center's Auxiliary Conference Room. June's meeting will be about elections and Field Day. We have Board posistions still open, please look at the current Zero Beat for more information Thank you, Jeffrey Bail - NT1K HCRA At Large. It's a 2004 Palomino Pony 283 in very good condition. Many of you have seen it at past Field Days, like last years. It can be towed with a small SUV or minivan with a 2 inch tow ball. It has 2 full size beds on each end and the dining table converts to a smallish bed. Comes with a canopy and a "add-a-room" attached screen house. The add-a-room makes for a great operating station for Field Day or any camp out. Faye and I can pop it up and be ready to sleep in it in about 20 minutes and that includes putting linens on the mattresses. Also has roof cross bars and bike racks for 3 bikes. New spare tire too and all tires filled with nitrogen. Includes a screen house (approx 13x13 I think). Every winter it has been garaged and not exposed to the elements. It's been lovingly used and cared for and we're looking for a good home for it. Asking $2500 or Best Offer. Interested? Contact Larry, W1AST at 413-348-3289 or wb1dby at comcast.net. 73 and have a great day!
