[HCRA] Upcoming Meeting This Week, MTARA Hamfest and KX3 Raffle

There will be an HCRA meeting this Friday (March 6th, 2015) at Holyoke
Hospital Auxiliary conference center starting around 7:30pm. This month's
meeting is Show and Tell. This is where members can show off items they've
built over the past year. Anyone is welcome to participate. You can even
bring a friend!

This meeting will also be one of the last chances you get to purchase
raffle tickets for the Elecraft KX3 transceiver. It's an excellent radio
with one of the best receivers out currently in the market. We still have
tickets available for $10ea. The money raised will help out HCRA. Please
support your club.

There will be coffee and donuts available for purchase with thanks to Bruce
Fuller (KB1TLX),

MTARA Hamfest.

This Saturday, March 7th is the annual hamfest sponsored by the Mt. Tom
Amateur Repeater Association. It's located at the Moose family center on
Fuller Rd. in Chicopee MA. Doors open for general admission at 8:30am.
Thanks to the MTARA for putting on such a great local event. It's a lot of
work.

HCRA will have a table at the Hamfest, Please stop by and say hello. This
will be the last chance you can get a KX3 raffle ticket as the drawing will
take place at the end of the hamfest. We're also looking for any amateur
radio related items that can be donated to the club and sold at the hamfest
or at future meetings. Income received will help support HCRA.
