[HCRA] ARRL 10M contest starting at 0:00z today (12/12/14)

Hello All,

It was great to see a lot of you at the Holiday Party this past Monday. It
was a great time and thanks to all those from both HCRA and MTARA that
attended.

Just an FYI that this upcoming weekend is the ARRL's 10 Meter Contest.

It's one of the few contests that HCRA participates in as a club. Last year
we've had a combined score of around 1,144,606 points. That is much better
than the 466,188 points in 2012. Propagation is looking good for this
weekend and I think we can beat last years score as a club.

If you plan on participating in the ten meter contest this weekend, please
make sure to include "Hampden County Radio Association" in the header of
your log file. Avoid using the letters "HCRA" as a club because there are
other clubs that might use the same initials.

Don't forget to submit your logs to the ARRL by Jan 13th 2015 (please refer
to the rules about submitting). In addition to submitting your logs to the
ARRL, please also submit your score summery/logs to scores at hcra.org with
any soapbox comments and pictures that we could possibly publish in an
upcoming Zero Beat,
