W1KK/QST de K1KBQ now KB1ZW

My brother Joe WA1OCK who left this earth on Christmas Day 1993
left behind a very unique 220 repeater 222.34 / 223.94
The family is looking to get this thing used, because it was
placed in storage awhile back, we are renting the QTH in East
Springfield.

Everyone has been too busy to play with it, but need to get it
into hands that can make it play. Possibly the original technical
committee from WA1KGR/WR1ABX, but I think ZJH John (God) may be too
busy with his new family. I never got to apologize for waking him
up in the middle of one night years ago with a unique request.
I know John Balboni was close to Joe and also Joe received an
award (the golden mike) from WAIC posthoumsly which I accepted
last year.

Also a bunch of miscellaneous aluminum antennas, several pieces for
some kind of vertical multi-band, but the best part might be what
looks like pair of long stacked two meter yaggis. And some other
stuff that I am not sure what it is.

Tommy WA1SCW is quite sick, hospitalized at Holyoke soldiers home.

AS far as I know, this is what the repeater is:
Heavy motorola cabinet
couple gold colored 12 volt power supplies
believe the type surplus from National Telephone
super custom repeater consisting of
midland 220-509 xmtr and rcvr boards
each mounted in cast aluminum box with all feed-thrus
repeater controller standard P/N can't remember
stationmaster cut to 220, was up for 25+ years on garage
another stationmaster tagged for very close frequency
DUPLEXER SPECIAL WACOMM. specially ordered with 8 cavities
phone patch, etc.

Possibly this could be used by a club, or for field day?

I heard about the anniversary party for MTARA years ago,
but was out of town, and only get to HCRA infrequently.

Doing the "INTERMOD" Newsletter with John Ray BWF and Dan EYX
for 6 years was fun, but got job assignment and had to leave
the Brown Baggers also.

Now that the end of the world is coming,
would you take a good used repeater?
sirry for the delay.

Gads, almost forgot, would you believe a GE 60 watt Table Top
Prog line still complete, in mothballs, with GLB synthesizer
works as a fake cushman :-) And pair ;eftpver prog line AC rack
mounted power supplys, 80 watt strip, could go into radio museum :-)

73,
Dick Wolos KBQ/ZW
CU there
