Bob, the transceiver is a Kenwood TS-830S, a hybrid solid-state/tube unit from the 1970s/1980s. The second photo shows the matching remote VFO, speaker and mic. The unit on the VFO appears to be a phone patch, possibly by Nye Viking, judging from the logo on the box. Hope this helps. Nice-looking gear for its age, or is this an old photo?
