[HCRA] Buying a tuner

I would go with a Drake MN2000, or Johnson Matchbox for balanced lines.
They are often available at Deerfield.

Of the two you are looking at, go with LDG.

The problem with an autotuner is it can get stuck in an untunable
situation. But they work for the most part.

Controversy:

If you are using a tube amplifier, and have something less than an awful
mismatch, don't waste your $$ and power. You don't need a tuner. The output
tuning network of the amp is a matchbox. Ie; a tuner.

Since I am known as the trouble maker and starter of controversy. Here I
go again.

Looking to buy a tuner. I will check E-Ham later. Looking for personal
experience and preference.
