There's still time to enjoy Field Day this year. The HCRA/MTARA joint field
day is underway as I type at beautiful Dufresne Park in Granby, MA. We
started setup yesterday afternoon at 2:00 PM - here's what's in store for
today,

6:00 PM to noon - Complete antenna setup, network the PC's, setup the
stations.
noon - lunch served by Jim/NN1Y and his able assistants
1:00 - 2:00 - last minute station/antenna setup
2:00 - Operation begins and will continue until 2:00 PM Sunday

Thanks to Diane/KB1KST we have a Get On The Air station. This station is
designed to give new hams or prospective amateurs a chance to get on the air
with a competent coach to help them out. Inactive hams are also encourage to
participate.

Chuck/KB1JFQ and Rockwell/KB1NTY will be attempting to work satellites and
the International Space Station (ISS) throughout the day. Witness cutting
edge technology and cool antennas!

We will have many SSB, CW and digital stations setup with lots of
opportunities for guest operators - come on down!

Jim will continue to serve food throughout Saturday and Sunday. Lunch both
days, dinner with chicken Florentine Saturday night, midnight snacks, and of
course breakfast on Sunday.

The event ends at 2:00 PM Sunday. At that time we tear it all down and store
it away until next year.

Don't miss out and have to wait a whole year until we do it again. Come on
down today or tomorrow and join the fun!

Jim/KK1W
