[HCRA] Have you started your Show & Tell project for March yet?

 I just started my Show & Tell project for the March meeting. It's a
SoftRock SDR receiver kit from Tony Parks. I managed to get all the parts
identified and sorted this morning. I had a 'high confidence' level going
into this but apparently someone aimed a 'shrink ray' at the kit. One of the
SMT chips is like REALLY SMAL...L!

There was a good article in the last QST detailing how to turn a B&D toaster
oven into a reflow soldering oven. I may give that a try with this kit
(anything to avoid actually starting the build). Prudence would say to test
it with something other than the kit first - but I've never been know for
patience.

More to come I guess. What about you folks, what do you have on the building
board for Show & Tell. Let us know so we can share your experiences with the
build.

We're working to obtain a few prize donations from kit producers, more to
come on that front soon.
