[HCRA] Microphone plug replacement

Greetings everyone! 

I was wondering if someone could help me replace a microphone plug (male end) on a headset I have. I could either keep it as the standard jack or go over to an XLR plug (I use the headset for broadcasting purposes in which I use an XLR jack). 

There's somehow a short inside of the plug and I figure it's cheaper to fix it myself (or with the help of someone) instead of sending it off for repair.
