GE All:

I Ditto what Jim says/said.

My station is open for ops of all types, SSB, CW, DIGI

IC 746pro
AL-811H
AT-3000
TA 33SR at 40 and TA 32 fixed SW at 30
Rig Blaster pro
Ac-log W/LOTW

Will be using the W1NY call.

Already have Rory N1RNR coming for noon on Sat, so don't feel bashful.

if you cant make it to one of these stations, at least get on the air and
support your club.

I will be starting Fri, around 28.375 MHz (why does that frequency sound
familiar).

73 and good luck in the contest
DE W1NY QRZ?

Hey folks,

The ARRL 10 meter contest starts tomorrow evening. As part of the effort
I'll be operating my station under the club call WB1Z and opening the
station to any and all operators that would like to either try their hand
at contesting or want to try out some of the KK1W equipment. Also if you
have experience but not a home station you're welcome to join us too. In
other words if you want to have fun then do as they say on TV and, "come on
down"!

As the DX would say, "the operating conditions here old man are:"

Icom IC756proII
Heath SB-220 amplifier
SteppIR 3 element beam at 50'
N1MM logging software
Microham MK2R rig control

The shack is in the basement, we have plenty of parking and place for ops
to sleep if necessary. Either Matt/W1MSW and myself will be on site and can
offer mentoring/coaching/elmering (whatever the hell you want to call it)
if needed or we can step back and let you have fun all on your own - you
make the call. Want to work SSB, have at it. CW - not a problem. Digital,
yep we can do that too. And since there will be control ops on site all the
time you get to use the ENTIRE 10 meter band, even if you're a Technician
or a General. How cool is that?

So don't miss out on the fun just because you don't have a station at home
or aren't sure how to actually 'do' a contest. We're here to help and we'll
have great fun doing it. Our goal is to deliver a 'kick ass' score for HCRA
in this year's contest. Propagation is superb so we really should have an
outstanding weekend.
.
If you do want to join us (we don't bite, at least not very hard) please
drop me an email or facebook reply so we can plan accordingly. And let me
repeat one more time...

Don't be shy, come on over and have fun!

'73 but if you decide to operate from home look for WB1Z on the bands an
register another point or two for HCRA.

'73...

Matt/W1MST & Jim/KK1W
