[HCRA] ARRL 10 Meter contest is this weekend!

ARRL 10 Meter contest starts this Friday, December 9th, at 7 PM local time.

Now the time to get on 10 meters and have some fun. Not sure what to do,
new to the hobby. We've got a little tutorial on our website to help you
out.

New to the hobby or haven't had a chance to build a 10 meter station? Three
of our members (so far, they may be more) have offered up their station for
'guest operators' to use during the contest. Those generous folks are:

Ed LaCombe - Ed lives in Agawam and is an experienced contest operator.
Richard H. Wheeler - Rich lives in Northampton for those of you in the
north country!
Jim Mullen - Jim lives in Brimfield and his station is open for anyone to
use throughout the 48 hour period.

Ed & Jim will be using the club calls of W1NY and WB1Z respectively, Rich
will be operating under his own call, N1KXR.

So don't spend the entire weekend going shopping, putting up Christmas
decorations or working around the yard. Plan a few (or quite a few) hours
to get on the air and have fun while we have good propagation. What the sun
gives, the sun will take away - don't miss out get on the air now while the
bands are hot.
