[HCRA] Anyone for trying some 2M CW?

Hey gang,

I received this request from Doc Webb/W1CY. You may remember him better as
W1HOD. Doc appears to be having some trouble with HF at his location and
would like to set up some skeds for CW operation on two meters. I'm not sure
if Doc is looking to do 'true' CW with a multi-mode rig or MCW (modulated
CW) using FM. Either way the CW is the same, just the method of generation.

Please take a look at Doc's message copied below. If you think it is
something you would like to try why not get in contact with him and have
some fun. He can be reached via email at: w1hod at comcast.net.

Or even better yet maybe someone could take a look at his HF installation
and see if somehow the noise he is referring to can be reduced or
eliminated.

Either way here is a chance to help out someone that has done his share of
Elmering over the years. Hopefully at least one of the more than one hundred
folks we have on the list can come to his aid.

 *Jim, because of a hearing deficit at age 95 I am not comfortable with
voice but would like to find someone who is equipped for 2 meter CW as the
noise level at Loomis Village precludes use of my Drake TR7 (with stealth
antenna.   Do you know anyone who might be interested.  Second. once the
HCRA  offered some transceiver kits. Are there any avalable now?  Where?*
