[HCRA] Zero Beat is on the web - meeting this Friday!

Hey gang,

 

The latest issue of Zero Beat is on the web. Chock full of pictures &
stories this month thanks to many contributors. You can download your copy
at: http://www.hcra.org/zerobeat/may10.pdf

 

Those of you getting your copies via email please be aware there was a
foul-up with the minutes. Instead of the March minutes as intended a old
copy of last October's minutes were mistakenly inserted. The copy on the web
site has the correct minutes. Also Larry has sent to all the email
subscribers a copy of the March 2010 minutes. Don't let this detract from a
great issue of Zero Beat. It is so nice to see our club members active and
getting everything they can out of the hobby. How about you? Are you an
Armchair Amateur or are you getting out of the easy chair and actually
having fun? Field Day is coming up and offers a great opportunity to
participate in just about every facet of amateur radio.

 

This Friday is our May meeting. Our special guest speaker this week is Jose,
N4BAA (ex N1BAA) talking about the excitement of amateur radio and delving
into some 'tips & tricks' for DXlabs - a free general logging program that
does it all! Also this Friday will be the 'White Elephant Table', a super
raffle with a West Mountain Power Crimper and of course coffee & donuts for
all.

 

Field Day is less than two months away. We will be passing around a sign-up
sheet so we can get a clear handle on who want to do what for HCRA Field Day
2010. In case you forgot, the dates are June 26th and 27th!
