[HCRA] Tail Gate Party and Surprise Guest tomorrow evening!

Hey gang,

 

As usual the weather will be beautiful for HCRA's annual Tail Gate Party.
Now's the time to finish pulling out all that stuff you don't need any
longer and truck it over to the church for an evening of selling/buying and
of course eating.

 

George & Jim will be cooking up hot dogs, serving soda, and even have some
home made goodies to tempt your taste buds. I heard a rumor the famous
KB1PKJ brownies will be available. Quantities are limited - so shop early
for best selection :>)

 

We have a special guest tonight too. Here's your chance to meet the ARRL's
Goldfarb Scholarship Award winner, Kyle, KB1MNN. Kyle will be reviewing with
all of us how amateur radio not only excited him as a youth but has become a
key factor in his higher education. Hopefully KB1MNN will inspire some of
our younger members to follow in his footsteps.

 

Going on sale tomorrow evening will be the Field Day Raffle Tickets. Here's
your chance to win a Yaesu FT1900 mobile rig complete with a mag mount
antenna, for as little as a $5 donation. Only 75 tickets will be sold and
the drawing will be held at the close of Field Day, June 27th at 2:00 PM.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening - don't forget to
bring a little $$$ in case you find something you just can't do without!
