[HCRA] Return of the Commodore 64?

Bummer that it doesn't run native C64 OS. I suppose the Ubuntu Linux version
or even maybe the Windows 7 version could be made to boot into a Frodo
emulator fullscreen. But it would still be an emulation.

There were those C64 in a joystick that I bought two of about 5 years ago.
Turns out they are full blown C64 on a chip hardware emulators. The original
circuit designer was a homebrew fan and released the pinouts for adding 1541
drives and a power supply etc. A bunch of people modded them into gaming
rigs. That is on my long list of projects to be completed.
