Hey folks,
I took mom to the obligatory trip to the dollar store today. I have to admit
it was the first time I've been in one! We went to the Dollar Tree in Ware,
so my comments are particular to this one. I don't know if all Dollar Trees
carry the same stuff.
Anyway, kind of like the Jay Leno show, here's some stuff I found for a buck
that may be of interest?
USB cables. A to A, A to D and A to mini (like digital cameras). All 6' long
and only $1 each.
I picked up a set of ear buds because I wanted the cord with the right angle
plug attached, yep, only a buck.
They had LED flashlights with 3 LED's for a buck. The cases looked like
plastic but you get the LED's for only $.33 each. Ever price on at Radio
Shack?
Mom found some other bargains but you probably don't need to know. I just
thought I would list few that may have some ham applications.
Anyone else out there run across stuff like this? Post it to the list if you
do, it is always fun to tear about something that only cost a buck and make
something else out of it!

And no, I don't work for them or hold any stock. YMMV, enjoy.
