[HCRA] Meeting tomorrow evening - Friday, September 4th.

OK gang, the weather is going to be gorgeous for the Labor Day weekend so
you will have plenty of time to make the HCRA meeting on Friday and still
have the whole weekend left to enjoy cookouts and adult beverages. Isn't
that great, starting the weekend off with your friends at HCRA? And on a
beautiful September evening - super!

 

Our guest speaker tonight is Dan Henderson, N1ND. Dan is the Regulatory
Information manager at the ARRL and will be chatting with us on how to avoid
exploitation of our amateur radio service. It should be an interesting
presentation for all members but especially critical for those of us
involved in Emergency Communications. N1ND's brings to us a wealth of
amateur radio knowledge and an easy going style that will please everyone.

September is renewal time for HCRA. Bound in the September Zero Beat you
received this week is your renewal application. Please bring it along with
you tomorrow evening so we can get you on the rolls as a current member.
This year everyone that renews by October 2nd will automatically be entered
in a drawing for an HCRA jacket and cap. Don't miss your chance to win,
renew early.
