[HCRA] WB1EHD Remembrance Gathering

Greetings all, 

Well it's been almost a year now since Dennis - WB1EHD left us and the wheel has almost turned full circle. A number of us talked about getting together to remember our good friend and if you, as one of Dennis' friends would like to join us, you are more than welcome. This is a casual gathering, wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather as the meteorologists are forecasting rain. 

The basic plan is this, on Saturday, October 24, 2009 we will meet at Dennis' graveside which is located in the St Bridges Cemetery on Everett Street in Easthampton, Massachusetts by 3:00pm. There will be no ceremony, no clergy, no pomp and circumstance. Simply a group of people who wish to gather to remember, share stories and honor the life that was Dennis Malone. We'll also look to the future, acknowledge that these indeed ~are~ the good times and embrace life as Dennis would have done.

After the gathering at the cemetery, it has been suggested that we go to the Bluebonnet Diner on King Street in Northampton ( http://www.bluebonnetdiner.net ) and feast on foods that would have made Dennis' tummy happy. The five (5) scoop bowl of Chocolate ice cream are optional! 

No R.S.V.P. is required for this gathering. Simply show up at the cemetery and/or the diner.
