[HCRA] HCRA Tail Gate Party - June 5th!

Yup, it is just around the corner! 

 

Are you ready for the Tail Gate Party?

 

It is June, a time of weddings, school closings, Field Day and of course the
HCRA Tail Gate Party! Just what exactly is the HCRA Tail Gate Party you ask?
Well, it is a low key, inexpensive way, to buy, sell or just plain have a
good time with your favorite friends. If you have something to sell bring it
to the party! Spots in the parking lot are only $5. You get the chance to
layout your wares on your 'tail gate' (bring a table or a blanket if you
don't own a pickup truck) and leave at the end of the evening with some cash
in your pocket.

 

Buyers, you get in for free (it doesn't get any better than that) and you
get the chance to walk around, look at all the stuff, chat with your
friends, partake of some coffee, soda and donuts and all-in-all have a good
time. It is also worth mentioning that buyers or sellers don't need to be
members of HCRA. This event is open to everyone with the hope we can attract
some new folks to our club and our hobby.

 

Got stuff you don't need but really don't want to spend the time to tail
gate? Why not put it on the club table with a price (or even better donate
it) and we will sell it for you and only take a mere 10% for the service.
And you go home feeling better you were able to help out your favorite radio
club. Cool, eh?

 

Setup is at 6:30 PM (an hour earlier than usual), the club meeting and
annual elections will start around 7:30 to 7:45.

 

I've been pulling some stuff aside for the last month or so. So far a
collection of odds & ends, some wire and most likely a Yaesu FT470 2M/440 HT
w/accessories. So what are you bringing to sell? Why not drop a note to the
list so we can bring enough $$$ to make the purchase?

 

Less than two weeks to go - I hope the weather is as pleasant as Memorial
Day!
