Greetings All,
The town of Hadley, Massachusetts [ http://www.hadleyma.org ] is turning 350 years old! To celebrate the town is holding a 350th Celebration Parade on June 14, 2009, read about this event, click on this link: http://www.hadley350.org/parade.htm .
To support this event, the town has contacted Richard - KD1XP, asking him if Amateur Radio operators would provide support in putting on this landmark event in the town's history.
So here is the question to you, would you like to help this celebration of the town ~and~ have bragging rights that you were part of this historical event in Hadley's history? If you said yes, then please take note of the following information.

EVENT: 350th CELEBRATION PARADE
DATE OF EVENT: June 14, 2009 DATE OF EVENT: June 14, 2009
PARADE STEPS OFF AT: 1:00 PM
PARADE ROUTE: The 1.8 mile parade will form near the junction of Mill Valley Road and Route 9 (Russell Street), and marching west on Route 9 to the West Street Commons where the parade will disband.
PARADE PARTICIPANTS: Over 90 units will be marching: 18 bands (several fife and drum, Hopkins Academy and Holyoke High, a military band, floats with music, 26 floats, local police and fire departments, antique cars and tractors, the Belchertown Twirlers, Local groups and businesses, the Shriners and some surprises!
