[HCRA] Channel 22 tour this coming Friday!

Lots of stuff going on right now.
 
First, the latest issue of Zero Beat is now available on our website. Take a
spin over to http://www.hcra.org/zerobeat/apr09.pdf and take a look at the
latest issue. And it is a good one this month too!
 
Larry started us off with an April Fool copy but I'm sure you have the
latest version in your mailbox by now. The April issue is chock full of
upcoming events, QRP info, pictures of last month's Show & Tell and even
photos from this weekend's WPX contest NE1C operated in from K1TTT's place.
Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
 
Next of course is this weeks meeting. This coming Friday head down to the
Channel 22 studios in Chicopee, MA for a guided tour of your favorite local
TV station. Same time as usual but not in Feeding Hills. The folks at WWLP
are very cooperative but they couldn't figure out how to easily move the
studio to Feeding Hills so we will have to go to Chicopee instead.
 
So, don't go to the church this Friday, nor to the old studios on top of
Provin Mountain. You might be disappointed if you do! What you want to do is
be at the studios in Chicopee at 7:30 for an interesting and fact filled
tour through a modern television studio. This is a great time to bring along
a friend or neighbor for a unique opportunity not everyone gets to do. Our
thanks to Channel 22 and Bob McCormick, W1QA, for making time in their
schedule to let this happen.
