[HCRA] Field Day Schedule

Yahoo - guess what? The 10 day forecast is predicting sunny and warm, temps
in the 80's for next weekend. It's about time we got out from underneath
this dark cloud don't you think?

 

We've just posted a tentative schedule on the web at:
http://www.hcra.org/schedule.htm. Take a peek and see what is happening next
Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Any changes additions/deletions are welcome as
always.

 

The key to making this year's Field Day work is to be sure we have a good
setup crew first thing Saturday morning. We are saving $250 by not renting
the park on Friday but that makes an early Saturday setup even more
important. Ed and his crew will be there at 6:00 AM. The earlier the band
captains can arrive the easier it will be for everyone. Can you help?

 

There's less than 10 tickets left for the Field Day Raffle. You can pick
yours up at Field Day from Jim, K1JAW. The drawing will be held early Sunday
afternoon and the prizes will be on site. You could leave with a new HT or
mobile rig - good luck!

 

Eric has volunteered to captain a VHF station. Does anyone have some
equipment (rig, antenna, push up mast) we could use for the effort?

Tuc, the genny guy, has to work over the weekend so we are looking for
someone to monitor and refuel the generators - any takers?
