[HCRA] Are you ready for Field Day?

Hey gang, the list has been pretty quiet about Field Day lately so I thought
I would 'stir it up' a bit.

 

With only 10 days to go John has everything pretty well in hand. Food, with
menu and cooking provided by NN1Y, is all figured out. See the menu at:
http://www.hcra.org/menu.htm. Jim is also looking for folks to bring along
their favorite side dish/dessert. I'm sure anything you bring will be
appreciated (and consumed!).

 

To the best of my knowledge we are still looking for:

 

1.	A VHF/UHF band captain.
2.	A person to act as information officer.
3.	Housing for the 10/15/75 SSB station.

 

Maybe it would be good if the band captains put a short message out to the
list with what they are bringing (and maybe what they need) to the party?
I'll put out the 40 CW one in a separate mailing.

 

Let's not keep Field Day, the HCRA way, a secret. Talk it up on the air and
with your friends but most of all be sure to show up for the party on June
27th and 28th. If you miss it you have to wait a whole year until the next
one!
