[HCRA] Tailgate Party tomorrow!

Yahoo - only a day until the Tailgate Party - kewl!

 

The weather forecast appears to be changing but if there is some liquid
sunshine we will have plenty of room inside the hall for sellers & buyers.
We can rustle up some table so you won't have to take the tailgate off your
truck,  just bring in your goodies for sale.

 

Any sellers out there bringing stuff to the party? Why not put a up a quick
post to the HCRA list and advertise a few of the more significant items to
entice us buyers? It can't hurt!

 

I'll be bringing a Yaesu FT470 dual band HT, Alinco ALD24 dual band mobile,
a dual band mag mount antenna as well as some assorted 'stuff'.

 

I do have a 100 amp power supply and will bring it along if anyone is
interested. Unless I hear from someone I will leave it at home as it is just
a little bit on the 'heavy' side (like about 100 pounds). This supply will
power any 12V item you have in your shack, maybe even all of them. Drop me
an email and we can discuss the very reasonable price.

 

On sale tomorrow evening will be the FD raffle tickets! For as little as $5
you can would a (your choice, you pick one) either a Yaesu VX-150R HT or a
Yaesu FT-2800M mobile). Only 75 tickets will be sold and the drawing will be
held at the end of Field Day, no matter how many tickets remain.

 

This is also your last chance to get on next year's election slate. If there
is a position on the HCRA board you would like talk to us. We are always
looking for some 'new blood' to help HCRA take new directions.

 

And of course there will be some Field Day discussion following the TG party
and elections. Are you participating in FD? Things are shaping up nicely,
check the FD page on the HCRA website for the latest.
