[HCRA] Catfish derby

Hello all,

I would like to thank all that attended and help out, Tuc N1QFT, Mike KB1PKJ, Dave KB1MU, George KC1V (and his friend Paul that loand us a PS and a radio), Steve N1SR, Eric N1QKO, Jim KB1PHW, Bill KB1OPV, Dave KB1JVB (sorry if I have your call wrong Dave),Eric KB1JV1, Jim KK1W also for all the web posting.  Sorry if I forgot any one.

Largest cat was 11lb 9 oz, although I do not have a picture of it.  The 2nd place cat, along with the largest female, and junior class will try to make it to the QSL card.

We made made 200+ contacts, the bands really stunk till the end when they opend for Jim PHW (should have seen the smile on his face).  We did the derby on 40 and 20 with 40 having about the same amount of contacts on Saturday. 

Weather was good for both days, Friday was a little wet for set up, along with the finishing touches on Saturday.


Overall I think it was a siccess, and i believe Jim (KB1JVF SK) would and did appreciate it.
