[HCRA] Anybody alive on the list? 17M open today.

Hey folks, why is it so quiet around here?

 

Just a short note, again in the FWIW department.

 

17M was open very nicely today around 2:00 PM (EDT). I talked with a IL, AZ,
IN, WI and GA over about a ½ period. For the most part signals were good,
some QSB but nothing to write home about.

 

Hey, check this out. I worked this station, W9EVT in WI. Look him up in QRZ.
Has anyone ever seen a ham with these many radios??? Heavens to Heathkit
Batman!

 

Don’t let the summer pass you by without making some contacts. Even with the
few sunspots we have around there’s lots of good ones to work.

 

And of course the Catfish Derby is less than 2 days away. Not going to the
Derby? Why not try to work them on 40M and get a nice QSL?
