Club Breakfast, Winter Carnival, both Saturday 2/7

The Greenfield Winter Carnival and the January 2009 Franklin County Amateur Radio Club breakfast will both take place on Saturday February 7. Note that this is a change from dates previously scheduled . 




The breakfast will be at the usual time and place, 8 a.m. at Denny's Pantry on Bernardston Road (north extension of Federal Street) in Greenfield. All amateur radio operators, whether FCARC members or not, are invited to join us for our monthly breakfast get-together, which normally takes place on the Saturday following the second Monday of each month (this month is an exception). 




Winter Carnival starts at 10 a.m.; communications volunteers are asked to be present at 9:30, so there should be no conflict between the breakfast and this public service opportunity. 




To volunteer to help with Winter Carnival communications please contact Tom Foxwell, N1OTS, phone (413)774-2874 or e-mail n1ots at arrl.net , especially if you will not be at the breakfast. At the time of this posting it is rumored that the starting place may not be the same place as in past years. If in doubt about where to go, ask on the FCARC 2 meter repeater (146.985 Mhz, PL 136.5).
