[HCRA] Dennis Malone – WB1EHD’s Remembrance Decal

Greetings all, 



As I’ve been telling people before, or perhaps this is the first time you’ve heard of it, there is an on going effort to raise funds to have a remembrance decal created for Dennis Malone – WB1EHD who passed away on Friday, October 24th 2008. 



Dennis, as people will recall, was an avid race car fan who in addition to enjoying watching races, participated in making races happen as a member or several pit crew teams. 



The remembrance decal we hope to have created will be approximately 6x24 inches in size and will be placed onto the race car of one of our local race teams. This decal will remain on the race car the entire race season and will be large enough to be seen from the stands at the race track 



Now you may be asking yourself, how can I help make this a reality? Simple, do you like to eat? Do you like to share good times with friends? Do you like Spaghetti? If you said yes to any or all these questions, you’re in good company! 



Here’s one of the ways you can help. On Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the American Legion on Pleasant Street in Easthampton , Massachusetts there will be a spaghetti supper held. Now while the supper itself is being hosted by the race car’s team, if 125 people attend on behalf of Dennis, there will be a spot for Dennis’s remembrance decal on the car for nothing more than the cost of the vinyl! 



Tickets for this event cost nothing more, and even less in some cases, on what a person would spend for a night out, they are only $15.00. This promises to be a good meal with plenty for everybody to not leave hungry. For those who enjoy an “adult beverage” with their meal, as this event is at the American Legion there will be access to the Legion’s bar if you so choose.

If you can’t get a hold of Matt – N1OUC to purchase your tickets in advance, you can still get them at the door. If you do buy your tickets at door ~PLEASE~ look for Matt – N1OUC myself (Rich – N1KXR) or one of the WMARG group at the event. We’ll tally the names and totals of the people who come in Dennis’ name to ensure that proper credit is given to the tally.
