[HCRA] Zero Beat is on the web

Hey folks,
 
Most of you probably have received your November Zero Beat by now, either by
email or USPS. This month's issue is chock full of interesting material
including a special picture section of Venture Crews DX (510) visit to Cape
Cod for MassJam in October. You can download your very own copy at:

appearance we should be looking forward to:
 
November 7th - HCRA Annual Auction
December 8th - HCRA Holiday Party

Wow, lots of stuff happening before the holidays, isn't that great? It is
truly a sign of how active our nearly one hundred members are in our hobby.
Add to this list some upcoming foxhunts, kit building, Technician classes
and an the Newcomers Net starting soon and we really have a busy season
ahead of us. As Kx1x would say, "fun is..."
 
Our auction is the next HCRA 'Big Event' and is less than a week away.
Looking to some good bargains on ham equipment? Want to sell some 'unused
stuff' so you can get some 'new stuff' Then show up at the church around
6:30 PM on November 7th and get ready for some fun! Entry is always free so
bring a friend! Don't forget the giant auction raffle. You could win a $250
Gift Certificate to HRO from a $5 donation.
 
One sad note. Our ham community lost a great guy last week. Dennis, WB1EHD
passed away at way to early an age. Dennis was active with just about every
amateur radio organization in the area, participated in Field Day, ran an
SSTV net and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed
it. Dennis loved all aspects of radio and set a good example of how much fun
can be had from our hobby. We will certainly miss him dearly.
