Another good point:
Some logging programs (CT, I think older N1MM) suck the date/time from your computer's date/time. Not sure about XMlog, but its worth taking the 3 seconds to change it, hi.
[plug]Or just use the KAA Excel-based logger, which sucks the date/time from the online standard.

Thanks, Richard. While UTC will not be affected by the shift to Daylight
Saving Time, the difference between those times zones will drop to four
hours instead of five (ie, UTC is 4 hours later than EDT). Some loggers etc
use a "correction factor" to determine UTC from your current time zone.

Greetings all,

This is your semi-annual reminder that the Daylight Saving Time change will
occur Sunday, March 09, 2008 at 2 a.m. At that hour you should ADVANCE your
clock by one hour to read 3 a.m. Daylight Saving Time has been extended by
four weeks. This practice, which began last year in 2007, was due to the
passage of the Energy Policy Act in 2005.

I'd hate to hear of anyone missing a sked because they forgot to change
their clocks for local time. For the record, UTC time will ~not~ be effected
by the changing of clocks in the USA.
