Hi folks,

This coming Saturday, June 21st, there will be an ARRL NE Division Cabinet
Meeting. These meetings are held by our New England Director, Tom Frenaye
and the Vice Director, Mike Raisbeck twice yearly, just before the ARRL
board meeting.

What Tom is trying to accomplish with these meetings is to create a forum
for amateur radio clubs in New England to bring up matters they think are
important for the ARRL board to consider. In addition these meetings also
provide a chance to network with other New England clubs and find out what
is working well for them (or not working as the case may be).

I will be attending the meeting and what I'm asking you for is your input.
Is there anything YOU would like brought up at the meeting? There is no
guarantee it will go to the ARRL board but it is better than not saying
anything at all. If you have thoughts, questions or ideas please email them
directly to me and I will bring them up for discussion.

If you would like to join me I would welcome that also. The meeting runs
from 9:00 AM to about 3:00 PM. Lunch is on site and cost is $15/person.
Since the meeting is in Leominster, MA we could meet at my house and car
pool from there (I live in Brimfield) to save a little of the liquid gold
called gasoline.

Either way I would welcome your ideas and/or participation. The more we all
become involved in the direction our hobby takes the better amateur radio
will become.
