The O/S has been restored, and IRLP Node 7270 is back online.
I've added a couple of enhancements. You can push:
*411 to find out the current status (information) of the node, i.e. "Link Clear" or "Currently connected to Ref9011"
*511 will give the current time, and ID the node.
The node will also automatically give the time and ID at the top of each hour when not active.
PLEASE NOTE: As I was rebuilding the node people were trying to access the system. On three separate occaisions, I heard buttons being pushed, but absolutely no ID given. Remember, when you push DTMF keys you are making a transmission, and by FCC rules you MUST identify using your callsign. Its a good idea to get into the habit of calling with your callsign FIRST before pushing any buttons, and also to remember to identify again after pressing "73". You can't ID too often, but if you don't ID at all, then you have violated Part 97 rules.
The Node. Use it. That's what its there for.
