[HCRA] Boxboro Trip

Hi everyone,

Thanks to Irv and Larry for the tip about Marcotte Ford as a place to lease
the van. They are local, cheaper and willing to work with us for just one
day - can't ask for more than that.

So,,,

I have reserved a 12 passenger van for Saturday, August 23rd. I'll be
picking it up Friday evening so we can leave anytime at our choosing on
Saturday. If there is someone more local than me to pickup the van we can
make those arrangements as we get closer.

With the better deal on the van we are looking at about $35/person for the
van rental, gas and your ticket to the Convention. If we stop for a meal we
can leave that up to the individual for payment. Of course if we don't get
the full 12 persons the cost will go up slightly. All I ask is when all is
said and done I don't lose money on the deal. If you end up overpaying I'll
certainly refund back the difference.

Where we are right now is seven confirmation so far. When we get a little
closer I'll firm up the list and purchase the tickets. Once those
arrangements have been made and I buy the tickets I won't be able to get
that money back so if you have to bow out at the last minute you need to
either live with the expense or sell your seat to another local ham!
