Hi All,
Tomorrow starts a marathon weekend! Friday night is the H.C.R.A.
monthly meeting with the sign-up/renewal raffle of the Yaesu F1802M 2
meter radio. Bob Laflamme W1SQ has a talk on a program that lets your
Dos. programs run on Windows XP and VISTA! Seems to be quite a few
people that have old reliable programs that haven't run on the "new"
computers. Should be interesting.
Then Saturday at 11A.M Mt. Tom Amateur Repeater Association will
hold a "Hamfest" of sorts at the Turnverin of Springfield, located in
Agawam. Lotsa great stuff to be had there. They gave H.C.R.A. a table
free. (Nice People). Come down and check it out.. See the mtara.org for
a map and directions.
Sunday brings another Ham Flea market but I'm having brain strain at
the moment, I know it's in Conn. but the town escapes me. So if someone
can fill in the blank, I'd appreciate the help.
Also on Sunday is an unusual event, the Monroe Trail race. We meet
at the Friendly's at route 2 Greenfield, around 8 A.M and then convoy to
Dunbar Brook recreational area. To take part in a 10.5 K race up the
side of one of the Berkshire Hills. I've been there 3 years running and
it still is a lot of fun.

All the news fit to print.
Jim KB1JVF President H.C.R.A.
