[HCRA] Tailgate Party and Elections this Friday, June 1st

Hey gang!

The last meeting of our 2006/2007 meeting comes early this June. Actually it
is as early as possible, the first Friday will be June 1st.

There are a lot of things happening this month to keep you interested in
amateur radio.

1. HCRA's annual Tailgate party will be in the parking lot on June 1st.
Setup starts at 6:30. Spots are $5 each, admission is free. The party will
wrap up around 7:30 for our regular business meeting. In addition to the
usual good time we plan on having popcorn & soda too, just to add a little
fun to the proceeding. If you have any items you would like to donate please
bring them along and place them on the HCRA table. Your generosity will go a
long way to help out your club.

2. Also on June 1st are our annual elections. We have a full slate proposed
again this year but will take nominations right up until ballot time. Please
see this month's Zero Beat for the details.

3. Speaking of Zero Beat the June issue is now published and mailed. If you

4. And of course, what happens the 4th weekend of every June? Why of course
it is Field Day. Things are shaping up very well for this year's event.

great menu lined up, lots of new participants as well as some of the old
regulars and a promise of good propagation. What else can we ask for? Good
weather - lets hope the recent Memorial Day weekend will be a portent of
things to come.
