Well tomorrow I am off on the road. Basic route will be 66w to 81S to 64w to
57S then into Missouri. Round about 14 or 15 hours of driving.

I will have the APRS beaconing on 144.390 as KO1D-7. If there are not a lot
of spots you shouldn't be surprised as I am only going to have 5w into a
quarter wave on the roof. For a graphical view see here:
http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?call=KO1D-7

I plan on popping around the following frequencies:

146.52 FM Most of the time once I am out of known repeater range

145.67 DStar now and then to see if anything pops up

50.125 SSB Probably around noon and maybe late afternoon if it looks
hopeful. If it does open I'll use the D7 to figure out my grid square

28.444 USB I'll see if I hear the VWS Net on Thursday and try and check in
no guarantees

20m all over looking for some good DX

7251 KHz South Cars, 7255 KHz ECARS, 7258 Mid West ARS: As propagation
allows

5371.5 KHz, 5403.5 KHz after dinner and into the dark. This will be the best
band it seems overall based on conditions lately here in VA. Good
propagation over 500 miles and I heard a guy in CT working the UK last night
but the Brit was down in my noise so I couldn't grab him. Remember to ONLY
run 50w ERP on these frequencies!

3947 KHz if conditions and time allow I will try and catch the nets in VA or
WMA

Hope to work you all on the air!
